Environmental Project Funding

The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust has made a further £750,000 available over the next three to support large scale projects years through it environmental grants programme.

Trustees are looking to support projects in excess of £50,000 per year over three years. Funding will be given for projects that address one or more of four themes. These are:

  • Peatland restoration
  • Skills development and training of conservation staff and volunteers
  • Advocacy
  • Technical support to enable the conservation sector to become more efficient.

The Trust is looking to develop a portfolio of five substantive projects funded at a cost of £50,000 per year. The Trust is also looking to support projects that can lever in a minimum of 50% additional funding.

The closing date for applications is the 30th November 2015.
