Happy New Year on behalf of the Derwent Valley Partnership and we hope you had a lovely Christmas break.

January Board meeting

Please note that our first Derwent Valley Partnership Board meeting of 2020 will be taking place on Wednesday 29th January 2020 from 6pm-8pm in the Salvation Army Hall, Sherburn Terrace, Consett, DH8 6ND.

This meeting will include an update in relation to Shotley Bridge Community Hospital (SBCH) and the current consultations linked to Ward 6 and Stroke Rehabilitation services. In addition, a representative from The Office of the Durham Police, Crime and Victims’ Commissioner will be attending to provide information regarding the annual Policing precept consultation – an opportunity for questions will also be provided.

If you would like to attend the Board meeting, we politely request that you book a seat in advance as this helps us with our refreshment and paperwork preparations.

All of our meetings are open to members of the public to attend and everyone is welcome so please feel free to share this information via your own networks. Refreshments are provided and there are parking facilities adjacent to the main hall.

If you would like to attend the meeting and/or would like to receive a copy of the Board meeting papers once available, please contact a member of the Derwent Valley Partnership Team on 03000 260 725 or e-mail us at: This email address is being protected from spambots. We hope you can make it along to our first meeting of 2020.
