Find out about STEM with Family Learning sessions!

Do you want to find out more about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects and have fun learning with your child?

The DVP is funding Family Learning sessions which are being delivered by Training Development Resource (TDR) during the May half term week.  Come along to the FREE sessions and find out about the world of STEM:

  • Tuesday 28 May at Delves Lane Village Hall, Delves Lane, DH8 7BH
  • Wednesday 29 May at Burnopfield Community Centre, Syke Road, NE16 6JF
  • Thursday 30 May at St Patrick Hall, Victoria Road, Consett, DH8 5AX

All sessions last for two hours and run twice a day from each venue at

  • 10am - 12pm and
  • 1pm - 3pm

The sessions are for children aged 6+ years and parents/carers should accompany their child in the session/s.

STEM activities will provide a fantastic opportunity to find out how things are taught in your child's school, as well as a chance to share ideas with other parents/carers and develop your own skills.
