Pharmacy First service and survey

Did you know you can now get some treatments for some conditions directly from your pharmacy, without needing a GP appointment or prescription?

These include the following but not limited to

  • Earache
  • Impetigo
  • Infected Insect Bite
  • Shingles
  • Sinusitis
  • Sore Throat
  • Urinary Tract Infection

Following the recent launch of the Pharmacy First service, Healthwatch County Durham are keen to hear about people's experiences of visiting the pharmacy. They want to hear from anyone who has visited the pharmacy - it doesn't need to be as part of the pharmacy first initiative.
